Nose and Paranasal Sinuses

Nasal Obstruction

If you can't breathe through your nose, we can help! 

You may have:

Nasal septum deviation

Enlarged turbinates (causing narrow nasal passages)

Nasal Polyps (especially if severe seasonal allergies)

Recurrent Sinusitis

If you endure multiple sinus infections each year requiring antibiotics, especially if only on one side, an anatomical defect could be the cause. Dr. Rosenberger may be able to provide relief. 

Sleep Apnea (1) and Snoring (2)

  1. If you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, but are unable to tolerate your CPAP machine due to high settings, you may be a surgical candidate.
  2. While not always synonymous or corresponding with Sleep Apnea, snoring may be improved with airway modification surgery.

Facial Trauma

FFCS provides NON-ACUTE care of facial injuries

Patient's involved in motor vehicle accidents, falls, assaults, or involving any other body part or organ MUST be evaluated and cleared by an Emergency Room physician prior to evaluation.

Facial Bone Fractures

Facial bone fractures are generally repaired in a hospital or ambulatory surgery setting and my require overnight observation depending on injury location and method of repair.

Facial Lacerations

The face has an excellent blood supply and can heal remarkably well if lacerations are closed meticulously and within 24 hours of injury.

    • A: Yes, fracture lines that involve tooth roots should be evaluated by a dental professional
  • If I sustained a mandible fracture, will I have my jaw wired shut?
    • A: Not necessarily, this is only one method of treatment and may be combined with other treatment modalities to give the best outcome

 This could be located in or just under the skin

  • Common masses are simple lipomas (fat tumor) or sebaceous cysts
  • A deep facial mass may be located within the parotid gland and require biopsy
